Meet Kenny
Kenny came for a cut on his hind leg, it started out small but as most wounds do, it got a little bigger before it began to close up. He spent a couple weeks in the Salt Spa to help get it closed and healed up, then moved onto the treadmill where he could begin building up some muscle.

Meet Mighty
Mighty came after 6 months of stall rest after finding out he had a broken pelvis. He had lost muscle from being on stall rest due to his injury and the owner was having trouble putting weight on him because of how much energy his body was putting into healing. He was now cleared to begin building muscle back up with work!
He was here for 2 months. He was fed alfalfa and some grass hay along with Cool Care, Vitamin E for 6 weeks (5000 IU), Myoplast (for 1 month) and began to exercise on the Water Treadmill.
It took about 5-6 weeks before I could see a noticeable change in strength on the Water Treadmill. And in the last 2 weeks he improved dramatically!
At the beginning of his stay, he was walking at 1.4 mph (some days even slower) and by the end of his stay he was walking at 2.3 mph. Water heights varied but we mostly "floated" him at the beginning. He could walk at most water heights comfortably by the end of the 2 months.

Early this spring I had a mare deglove her leg in an unknown accident. It looked gruesome and I was convinced I was looking at a broodmare, best case scenario.
I decided to send her to Shyla right away and try to get best case scenario. I was blown away by not only the care, but the communication I received and all the extra work she put into her.
She took care of vetting, wrapping, stalling and she has numerous salt spa treatments that were slowly introduced to have my mare feeling comfortable with the process.
